About
I started learning about scams, security, and personal safety because I kept seeing good people—smart, honest folks—get blindsided by threats they didn’t even know to look for. That concern led me to study not only information technology, but also the broader issues of fraud, scams, personal security, and everyday preparedness.
After more than 30 years in ministry, I took up a new kind of learning—earning certifications, taking classes, and digging into what it really means to stay safe and be ready in today’s world. This journey is equipping me to help others in a new way.
My goal is simple: to give you practical tools, honest advice, and quiet encouragement—so you can live wisely, stay safe, and protect what matters most in a world that’s always changing.
I go by K. Richard Labbe here—a small nod to my family name’s original spelling and a gentle way to keep this work distinct from my full-time ministry role. Different focus, same heart: helping people live with wisdom, confidence, and peace.
Warmly,
